Taking her inspiration from popular country artists like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original songs that were a reflection of her own experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift's family relocated to Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of 13, so that she could be able to spend longer pursuing the country music label in Nashville.
